Creative Projects
I recently commented on a LinkedIn Post that a candidate’s hobbies can be relevant for a role. There should be no pressure for a candidate to answer questions about what they do in their off time. That being said, a more enlightened candidate can provide honest insight that provides evidence to support their relevance as a candidate.
So I’m adding a new Creative Projects Category to my blog. True, this is purely a section to brag about creative solutions and diverse skills. There might even be a world record in there somewhere.
Here’s the initial list to back fill here:
- Aspect and Upgrading Cisco/Cerent 15454 SONET MSPP Modules
- Are the Trees Batty? Economical Environmental Protection
- Evil Tweety -World’s Fastest Bonneville 4-Stroke J/Pro Car
- MIDI Mechanical Drums
- Raspberry Pi in a Demo
- Raspberry Pi Virtual Event
- Hot Rod 18 Speed Bicycle
- Secured For Banking – Secure Online Banking with WORM
- Three Legged Linux – Quick Consistent Appliance Builds
- WebRacer – touchpad up-cycling
I’m sure others will come to mind. This is a decent start, but I’ve been “paid to play” with technology for more than 10 years. And tech has been my passion for most of my life.
