#OpenToWork? Here is What I Can Offer

December 19, 2022 Attitude Getting Hired No Comments

If you were laid off and are still looking for work – I’d like to offer what I can to help.  It is a rather limited scope, but is a sincere offer.  Please repost, comment on and share to help get this out to more people.

If you are looking at a Sales Engineering or related field, a requirement of the interview process is often a live demo.  I am happy to be a sounding board for that demo.  I’ve got years of experience.  I am always improving, and I’ve gotten a lot of feedback.  Let’s get on a call and roleplay.  It is a safe environment to practice.

If you are thinking about pivoting to a Sales Engineering role, or want to know more about what the work entails, reach out.  For the demo sounding board time and AMA (Ask Me Anything) on SE roles, I’ve got the time to do one, maybe two, meeting(s) per day.  I am pretty busy on skill growth and the job search, but this is something that also helps me.

If we’ve worked together I can make warm introductions into other firms where I have worked.  Same if we have had interactions where you think I know you well enough to vouch for you.  I can also give you details about the solution (product), culture and feedback on if I’d work there again.  Knowing the value proposition and differentiators will differentiate you.  Especially if you can articulate them succinctly.  It makes a difference when communicating with the recruiter and others involved with the hiring process.

Please do reach out if I can help.  If you know someone that might be able to leverage this, please point them here.  And of course – reactions, comments and shares help spread the message.
